A double color film blowing machine in the YF-FEC series processes three materials. They are HDPE, LDPE, and LLDPE. Both models take all three grades. The models are the YF-FEC600 and the YF-FEC800. Each resin gives the film a different feel and a different strength. Film thickness stays 0.08–0.2 mm on both.
Buyers ask one thing before they sign. Will this line run the resin already sitting in my storeroom? Ruian Yunfeng Machinery has been building plastic machinery since 2001. More than 20 years in the film industry, including the double color film blowing machine range, points to one lesson. Most film problems start with the resin, not the machine.
This guide shows how each polyethylene grade acts on the YF-FEC. It covers how two screws form the color stripe. It also covers output ratings, blends, price drivers, and the step from film roll to finished bag.
The YF-FEC series is rated for HDPE, LDPE, and LLDPE. Those names stand for high-density, low-density, and linear low-density polyethylene. All three come from the same plastic family. So all three melt and blow on the same screw design.
The gap between them is a chain structure. Chain structure sets stiffness, clarity, and tear behavior. A double color striped film blowing machine can run any of the three. The bag you plan to sell should be decided based on which one you feed.

HDPE - Crisp, and it rustles in the hand. Good, where thin film must still hold weight.
LDPE - Soft, clear, easy to fold. Good where the bag is seen as well as used.
LLDPE - Stretchy and hard to puncture. Good where the load is sharp or heavy.
The screws are stated as Φ45×2 on the YF-FEC600. On the YF-FEC800, they are Φ50x2. The gearbox is same 133×2 and 146×2. The ×2 denotes 2 complete melt routes, not one shared unit Each path may carry its own colour masterbatch.
The die size is only specified on one. It is Φ60 on the 600 and Φ 80 on the 800. One figure is the point of the complete design. Two streams of melt move apart, then come together at a single head. This twin extruder single die head layout puts two colours into one bubble.

The colour band is formed while the film is still hot. So the color becomes part of the film wall. Instead, there's a band printed on top. It might scuff, split at the fold, or need drying time before winding.
A two color film blowing machine skips all three risks. No layer of ink to harm. Also, to drop a full step from the plant and make a colour stripe without printing.
No matter the thickness, HDPE gives the stiffest film. The chains are close-packed. A narrow gauge bears a load while yet feeling substantial. It has high tear strength in one direction and low tear strength in the other. Because of this, once a little nick begins, an HDPE bag splits in a straight line.
This rigidity is why HDPE rules supermarket carriers and vest bags. The shop needs the most bags per kg of resin. HDPE gives you that option. Running at 0.08 mm rather than 0.12 mm makes a difference in the cost of an entire order.
The rule is easy. HDPE is the traditional pick when bag count per kg is more important than appearance.
LDPE produces a softer film. It’s clearer, and it seals at lower heat.” The chains hold branches, so the material is flexible. Instead of holding its bag shape, the drapes. Burn-through on thin gauges is also reduced by lower seal heat.
The YF-FEC site offers usage for food, apparel, textiles, everyday needs, and industrial packaging. LDPE is suitable for the clothes and textile end of that list. In certain markets, looks are more important.
LDPE also gives the bubble the greatest forgiveness. It keeps its shape across a broader range of conditions. There will be less fighting with a new operator. That's worth actual money in the first several weeks.
LLDPE resists puncture and impact better than the other two grades. Its chains are straight, and the side-branches are short. The film stretches instead of splitting under a point load. Push a corner into an LLDPE bag, and the wall thins, then holds on.
That applies to any bag with sharp or uneven contents. The most obvious example is the roll garbage bags, which are mentioned on the YF-FEC website. Kitchen trash exerts odd point loads on the wall. That stretch overcomes stiffness.
LLDPE also handles big retail loads well. An HDPE bag would nick and run. An LLDPE bag bends but gets home.
In this kind of machine, PE grades are commonly blended together. Many factories are mixing grades for a trade off of cost and strength. But the YF-FEC standard only mentions three materials: HDPE, LDPE, and LLDPE.
Any blend ratio, filler load, or recycled share check with Yunfeng beforehand. For that check, use your own resin. Melt flow, filler, and moisture all affect how a formulation runs on a given screw. A brief specimen test establishes it. Feed the output into the contract. Any blend figure given without a test is a guess.
The two models differ in width and output, not in material range. The YF-FEC600 makes film up to 600 mm wide at 50–70 kg/hr. The YF-FEC800 makes film up to 800 mm wide at 70–90 kg/hr. Both hold 0.08–0.2 mm. Both run on 380V / 50Hz.
Floor space is a serious issue, so read the last two rows early. This plastic film extrusion machine requires a height of 4.5 m for the smaller variant. The bigger one requires 4.8m. Both are heavy; therefore, the floor slab is as important as the footprint. Both types of HDPE LDPE film production machines cover the same list of resins. It boils down to breadth and hourly production.

The YF-FEC produces film in a roll. It does not cut, seal, or punch handles. Turning the striped roll into a bag requires a second machine.
Yunfeng builds that stage as its own line. The bag making machine category holds the T-shirt bag and vest bag machine range. So a full plant has two units, the film line and the bag line. New buyers often budget for one and get a shock at the other. Plan both at the quote stage.
There is no single figure, because the spec sets the cost. Five items from the spec sheet drive it:
Model width - 600 mm or 800 mm.
Main motor power - 11 kW or 15 kW.
Gear box size - 133×2 or 146×2.
Machine weight - 2000 kg or 2500 kg, which also moves freight.
Optional equipment - listed on its own part of the product page.
Freight, port and any spare parts pack sit on top of the machine. To compare a film blowing machine price fairly, fix the spec first. Then ask each supplier to quote against that same list. A quote with no screw size and no die size cannot be compared to anything.
Ruian Yunfeng Machinery Co., Ltd. was founded in 2001. It has worked in plastic machinery for more than 20 years. The firm holds more than 10 national patents. Its production base covers 10,000 square metres, with an annual output of 500 units.
The range covers film blowing machines, bag making machines, and printing presses. Products reach buyers in more than 60 countries. That list includes the USA, Mexico, Canada, Spain, Russia, Singapore, Thailand, and India.
Support terms are stated openly. Machines carry a one-year warranty. Engineers can travel overseas for repairs in that period. The team aims to reply within 12 hours. If you cannot visit the factory, the machine is tested, and the video is sent to you.
The YF-FEC series processes HDPE, LDPE and LLDPE. All three run on the YF-FEC600 and the YF-FEC800. The material list does not change between the two models.
Film thickness is 0.08–0.2 mm on both models. The range is the same for the 600 and the 800.
Thinner gauges suit HDPE carriers
Heavier gauges suit LLDPE liners
Width and output. The 600 reaches 600 mm at 50–70 kg/hr with an 11 kW motor. The 800 reaches 800 mm at 70–90 kg/hr with a 15 kW motor.
No. Two extruders feed one die head while the film is blown. So the colour sits in the film wall, not on the surface.
Both models need 380V / 50Hz. Check your local supply before you order. Voltage and frequency change from country to country.
Yes. Yunfeng tests the machine with you at the factory in Rui'an, Zhejiang. If you cannot travel, the team tests it and sends you the video. Bring or ship your own resin if you want a set material tested.
Match the resin to the load, not to the price list. HDPE gives the most bags per kilo. LDPE gives the softest feel and the cleanest seal. LLDPE gives the best puncture resistance. All three run on the same YF-FEC line, so the machine is not the limit here. Your product is.
Ruian Yunfeng Machinery Co., Ltd. lists the full spec for both models on the YF-FEC double color film blowing machine page. Ask for a test run with your own resin before you commit.
